Parody and Satire: Jorell Jimenez

So, this gem of a video is called “Confounds the Science” a parody of “The Sound of Silence” by Simon and Garfunkle. Some people may not find this as humorous as I did, as this is mostly satire towards former president Donald Trump, but nonetheless, the way the creators meld some of the phrases from the original song into the parody creates a more humorous tone and amplifies the satire. It does not follow the original very closely, but does a great job at commenting on the political climate of the time.
