Javier Serrato Rojas Song Sample

I searched the song “Hot Wind Blows” by Tyler the Creator and Lil Wayne and found that it samples the song “Slow Hot Wind” by Penny Goodwin. After hearing the sampled song, I recognized the sound immediately from the Tyler and Wayne song. The sampled song has a more dark and ominous mood which I believe is why it was chosen for this song. Overall I think it was a good choice because even hearing the sampled song I feel i can hear both Tyler and Lil Wayne on it because they play around with dark and and intense sounds in there music. I think this sample add allows from for a track that greatly fits both artist by give room for the intense rap/lyrics from Tyler and the faster more punny raps/lyrics from Wayne.
