In 2001, Bratz dolls launched their line of iconic toys. However, when Barbie initiated their line of “My Scene” barbies, a dispute began. Bratz dolls are known for their big heads and slim bodies. The “My Scene” dolls were thought to have similar features. MGA Entertainment, creator of Bratz, filed a lawsuit against Mattel Inc, creater of Barbie. After the lawsuit began, Mattel claimed that the creator of Bratz designed the toy while working for Mattel. Finally, Mattell won the lawsuit and Bratz were to be taken off shelves. MGA did not back down and continued fighting. Then, it was ruled that Mattel was involved in trade secrets and MGA Entertainment won the case overall.
