After reading the article, I felt strong feelings come up regarding copyright. I think capitalism plays the most integral role in copyright and due to this sometimes content is not “protected” for the right reasons. The video of the baby dancing to Prince is a good example of copyright and protecting the music gone to the extreme. I did not think it was fully necessary or reasonable the way the home video example was solved. There needs to be copyright for the respect of the creator, but in some cases, I think it is too strict and simply revolves (like all things do) around money.
