I don’t know many of the nuisances relating to copyrighting but I have heard stories of people getting copyrighted unfairly or a copyright strike for something that was out of their control. An example is on Twitch, you aren’t allowed to play certain songs or else you get a copyright strike. The problem is that it’s not clear what songs you can or cannot play. Sometimes you play an online game and someone else plays the song but you get punished for it. Copyright laws need to be more clearer in some ways. I don’t think you should get copyrighted if

1. You aren’t claiming something else as your own.
2. You aren’t making a profit from someone else’s property. (Music, character, idea, etc)

I know my definitions aren’t clear but copy right laws are hard to fully understand. Maybe it’s a case by case basis and maybe someone will find another loop hole when something is supposedly “fixed”.
