Jenny Solomon

Jenny was born in Manhattan, New York and grew up in Sarasota, Florida. She received two B.S. degrees in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Florida (UF) in 2019. During her time at UF, Jenny worked on the Axion Dark Matter Experiment (ADMX) with Professors David Tanner, Neil Sullivan, and Pierre Sikivie. She also held the position of secretary for the university’s chapter of the Society of Physics Students (SPS). In the summer of 2020, she joined UNC’s Experimental Nuclear and Astroparticle Physics (ENAP) group as a graduate research assistant. Jenny works with Professor Reyco Henning in the Beyond Standard Model (BSM) group within the LEGEND collaboration. During her free time she enjoys singing, dancing, and listening to live music in the research triangle.
