The PRP Management System is a full-stack web application that manages information required for administering the Preliminary Research Paper graduate exam.
Our client is Professor David Stotts from UNC Chapel Hill’s Computer Science department. Currently, handling the PRP exam involves perusing a lot of separate pieces of information. We are developing the PRP Management system to ease the exam process for both staff and students.
Students use this system to register for the exam and view a calendar of deadlines. Students are able to check and make sure that their information has been received by the faculty. The app allows them to easily sign in and update details on their profile, as well as upload a pdf file of their research paper to the department.
Faculty can sign in to the system to collect student information necessary for making decisions about the exam results. They can access and view any registered student’s profile and research paper by finding it through the search function.
