Team Rules

TEAM BEHAVIORS:

  • Treat all team members with utmost respect
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and respect other’s ideas
  • Communicate within timely manner through team group chat (within the same day)
  • Email responses to team Professor, Team Coach, and client within 24 hours of recieving them
  • Weekly team meetings will be mandatory to ensure team cohesiveness and discuss updates
  • Communicate any other commitments affecting your ability to attend team meetings and complete deliverables beforehand

DELIVERABLES:

  • Meet deadlines to the best of your ability
  • Ask for assistance if necessary
  • Give project and timeline updates to the team through the groupchat
  • Prioritize client’s needs

CODING:

  • Properly document all code with descriptive comments
  • All team members must create their own branch before commiting new code to github
  • Verify and test code before pushing it to github
  • Make sure code is easy to follow and understand
  • Notify other team members of any potential issues
