CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – UNC-Chapel Hill Police are looking for two suspects accused of causing over $2500 in damage to the Old Well.
The suspects are accused of pushing the Well’s fountain over early on the morning of Sunday, March 31st, according to the police report. The university said the Well has since been put back in place, but the water will stay off until the pipes are repaired.
The police department posted a picture of the individuals alleged to have vandalized the well on Instagram. They ask anyone with more information to call investigator Wade Humphrey at 919-962-3534.
