CHAPEL HILL, N.C.- UNC Police are now investigating the report of a sexual assault on campus. Through documents we’ve obtained here’s what we’ve learned.
We know that it was reported to have happened at Kenan Music Building on Sunday, Feb. 18.
According to the department, a suspect has been identified and is not affiliated with UNC. UNC Police say that no arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
The 911 call indicates the alleged assault started inside the building and later moved outside to the parking lot.
The caller indicated that they did not know the alleged offender prior to this incident.
However, the caller said they knew the alleged offender’s name and social media account.
