CHAPEL HILL, NC – If you’re looking for a way to get involved in the Chapel Hill community then head out to the community picnic this Sunday.
The event will have several food trucks, local nonprofits, games, and a DJ. The Thanks + Giving Food Truck Rodeo takes place on Sunday, Nov. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Legion Road Property.
There will be a nonprofit showcase highlighting the work that they do for the community. The two anchor organizations, the Inter-Faith Council for Social Service (IFC) and People Offering Relief for Chapel Hill-Carrboro Homes (PORCH), will be collecting donations for the event’s food and toiletry drive.
