CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Chapel Hill is getting ready for Halloween. Here’s what you need to know if you’re celebrating downtown.
Two main roads will be closed on Halloween.
- Franklin Street: Raleigh Street to Church Street
- Columbia Street: Rosemary Street to Cameron Avenue
Other connecting roads may also be closed.
UNC, Chapel Hill, and Carrboro police will be in the area as well as deputies from the Orange County Sherriff’s Office. They will be removing prohibited items such as: open alcohol containers, weapons, and drones.
