CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – UNC’s National Alliance on Mental Illness hosted a small fair for students this past weekend. While the weather made many organizations drop out at the last minute, the club stayed and continued the fair in hopes of providing support for students over the weekend.

The fair’s main goal was to, “Reduce the Stigma Worldwide.” Many of the club’s leaders believed that it was important to note and push the message, despite the weather and lack of many of the organizations they originally planned to have.

With finals coming up on college campuses, UNC NAMI hopes that their presence and many other mental health organizations on campus will be a relief and resource for the students in the coming weeks.

You can find out more information about UNC NAMI and what their goal is as an organization and club on campus on HeelsLife.
