CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — As the warm weather returns, so does the excitement and renewal of the Chapel Hill experience. From outdoor dining to commencement, downtown Chapel Hill is gearing up for the arrival of spring.
To celebrate the season, the Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership together with Bandwango has launched “Spring on the Hill,” a mobile exclusive passport that offers deals and discounts at a collection of attractions, retailers, restaurants, and more.
The passport is available for free download and can be saved to the home screen of users’ mobile phones for easy one-tap access. After registering for an account, users can immediately start earning points by checking in at various locations and redeeming available discounts.
Once users reach a certain amount of point totals, they become eligible for prizes such as a branded T-shirt or a water bottle.
The program is the second in a series of mobile passes designed by Bandwango and the Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership. It encourages downtown visitors and residents to explore the area and rewards them for checking in and visiting various businesses.
The Spring on the Hill pass is ready to use immediately upon delivery via text and email, with no app download necessary.
