CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Carolina students and alums alike know that the only thing better than watching Duke lose is taking to the streets afterwards to celebrate a UNC victory.

Since rushing Franklin Street is a Tar Heel Tradition, seating in the restaurants nearby is in high demand. Some restaurants are taking reservations for the upcoming rivalry game on Saturday.

Supdogs is taking gameday reservations today at 3 p.m. Those interested must be in person to make the reservation. There is a $10 reservation fee per seat and an additional spending minimum of $20 per person.

Outdoor tables and standing room in the restaurant are on a first-come, first-serve basis starting at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

This is not the first time that Franklin Street restaurants are taking reservations specifically for a UNC vs. Duke basketball game. During the Final Four game last year, Supdogs, Italian Pizzeria 3 and Top of the Hill were just a few of the places that had reservation fees and spending minimums.
