Carolina THINK and Innovate Carolina present Scott Moody who is responsible for Apple’s fingerprint recognition system found in the iPhone 5s. Scott founded AuthenTec, a tech company that made fingerprint sensors that could be used to unlock phones and computers, which then sold to Apple in 2012 for $356 million. Moody is now founder and CEO of K4Connect, a company that provides an integrated whole-life software platform serving older adults and those living with disabilities. He is going to talk about having a greater impact on all stakeholders, rather than acting for the gain of just one. Q&A, networking, and complimentary refreshments will follow.
It will be held on Thursday, April 20 at 7:00 PM in the 1789 Venture Lab (173 E Franklin St)
