David Holcomb PhD, post-doctoral fellow

David Holcomb is a postdoc studying pathogen transmission and exposure in the environment. He is interested in the impacts of infrastructure and human activities like animal agriculture on the risks of exposure and infection, as well as opportunities to learn about the health of populations by monitoring their environments and waste streams. He recently completed postdoctoral training in Environmental Epidemiology at UNC, where he also received a PhD in Environmental Sciences and Engineering in 2019.
